What is about drains that you should know more? The answer is everything! Well, maybe not everything but at least well enough to help you to make an educated decision when you have problems with your home pipes.

Before starting any plumbing or drain project, you should become familiar with the basics of it. Why? Because it will help you determine what can be done by you or by a professional, which means that in the end you will save money.




Home Shower Drain

This section will explore the world of plumbing existent in your home. The purpose is to provide you with some basic tutorial of how your home’s system is done inside and out.

If you understand and learn how your home system work, you will be able to successfully diagnose almost any kind of problems that happens with it.

Don’t think that you will have to figure this out all by yourself because you won’t. I will assist you every step of the way to help you successfully identify the most common types of problems that could happen in your house.


Once you have learned the basics, you will be able to diagnose just about any drainage problem in your house and understand why it gets clogged. You will be able to determine where the clog is located in the pipe and the possible cause for being clogged.

Now, why is it so important that you know all this information? Do you remember the cost to diagnose a plumbing problem? I mentioned it on my home page. Understanding your home system will save you time and money.

It will save you time by being able to identify the problem quickly. It will also help you to find out whether you can fix it on your own or not.

If you can’t fix the problem yourself but at least know what the problem is, it will help you to properly explain it to the professionals when you call them and, it will also help you find out how much money it will cost you prior to have someone to come to your house to get it fixed.
