Hi

Last year we replaced the inside of the toilet tank, and now it is hissing and the water in the tank keeps running out a slow run and a very annoying hiss from inside the tank.

My better half has replaced the rubber plunger and when we bring up the ball on the stem it will stop but as soon as we let go it will hiss again.

He is getting quite fed up and I am ready to call the plumber, which is expensive and we are on disablility with a small pension.

Can you help please?
