The EcoWater water filters are capable of removing chlorine up to 99% and, it also removes particulate that is greater than 10 Microns.


Certifications:

The EcoWater is also certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF).


Maintenance:

The EconWater systems require electricity to operate and does require back flushing regularly.


Price of equipment:

A new EcoWater will cost around $3,000 and a replacement one will cost around $2,900.

Just like Aquasana brand, EcoWater filters must be installed by a professional and, the cost to do that can be very expensive.

Plumbing labor pricing can vary greatly, it might cost you anywhere from $130.00 to $190.00 per hour and, this is not included additional parts that are needed to complete the job.

So, as I mentioned on prior page, just the labor to install a filtration system might cost you anywhere from $750.00 to $1500.00 and, this does not include, additional parts, which could easily be another couple of hundred dollars.


Conclusion:

This particular equipment will last a little longer than the Aquasana brand, it filters 100,000 gallons more than Aquasana brand, however, the price for the equipment is more than three time more expensive than the first one and, the ongoing maintenance price for EcoWater also triples when comparing to Aquasana brand.
