Water is the most important liquid existent in this planet and, yet, it is the natural resource that is most abused by mankind.

This page will attempt to provide answers for the above questio, however, if you feel like this is not enough, please, visit the government website for more detail information about your water quality.

Determining Water Standard:

Also known as water quality level, it is simply the level of safety that the water must have in order to be considered safe for human usage. This does not mean that the water will be completely free from contaminants and impurities.

Water standard is set by three distinct governmental agencies: political (policy makers), technical (environmental lawyers) and scientific (environmental scientists) bodies. Their decisions determine an acceptable level of quality and purity that water must be before being considered safe to be consumed by human.

The environmental scientists work to help identify the harmful contaminants contained in the water and how to remove them.

The environmental lawyers and policies makers work together to create legislation that will eventually become law to maintain and protect water quality and safety.

The water delivered to our homes is not considered extreme harmful to our health but, it is not completely safe.

The fact to the matter is that, with all the water treatments performed by governmental agencies are not enough to remove all the contaminants and impurities from the water.

Another concern is the level of chorine found in the water, which for the most part, the level of chlorine found in the water is up to 5 times higher than the level found in public swimming pool.

What that’s bad? Well, our body works a giant sponge, which means, when we are taking a shower, we absorbing most of the chlorine contained in the water.

Absorbing chlorine is not good because, it can cause many types of diseases, including, cancer.
